About me
I’m a theatre director based between London and the South West of England. I graduated with Distinction from East 15 Acting School in 2022, where I completed an MA in Theatre Directing. I aspire to create theatre that is urgent, radical, and holds accessibility, inclusivity and community at its core. I care about working with communities and young people, in particular, and love making "youth theatre" settings more daring and theatrical.
I get excited about working on projects which interrogate form, integrating experimental movement with language and text, and the creation of new, non-traditional work.
I have a vast array of experience working with young people. For example, I am currently SEND Practitioner with Primary Shakespeare Company and a regular facilitator at Community Focus Inclusive Arts, leading arts-based workshops for young people with learning disabilities.
I grew up in Trowbridge, Wiltshire and graduated from Durham University in 2020, where I studied English Literature and Philosophy, but spent most of my time involved in over 20 productions across the three years.
